Hilton Garden Inn Ras Al Khaimah has announced the appointment of Sunera Perera, who will assume the role of Head Chef for the property overlooking all outlets.
 
Following his tenure of a decade with Hilton properties around the region, Chef Sunera Perera, known for sometimes infusing Sri Lankan flavours into Italian cuisine, will be bringing with him a wealth of experience.

Most recently at Hilton Dubai Jumeirah Resort, Sunera is dedicated to instilling the highest standards in food preparation, managing and controlling food wastage, and bringing his passion for culinary artistry to the property.
 
As the new Head Chef at the much loved Hilton Garden Inn, Chef Sunera Perera will be responsible for the daily culinary operation of all the outlets in the hotel including The Garden Grille, The Garden Bar, the Pool Bar and the extensive catering operations. He will focus on curating and implementing new menus to elevate the culinary offerings.
 
Commenting on his new role, Chef Sunera said: “I am very excited about my new role as the Head Chef at Hilton Garden Inn. I look forward to bringing my culinary, administrative skillset to the property and creating a memorable and authentic experience for all guests.”
 
Chef Sunera is a graduate of HTA School of Culinary Art in South Africa, and has several culinary certifications under his belt, including the USA Cheese Specialist certification program, Certificate in Cook and Chill, and Chemistry of Smoking. – TradeArabia News Service
