Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Abu Dhabi Resorts has unveiled upgrades of its luxury property, Anantara Al Sahel Villa Resort. Situated 250km southwest of Abu Dhabi, the re-imagined safari getaway blending rustic luxury with a sustainable approach, has introduced a collection of 30 new elevated villas.
The refurbishments enhance the resort’s rustic charm while seamlessly integrating chic modern comforts, striking a perfect balance between the island’s natural palette and Anantara’s signature hospitality feel. Each villa, including the Savannah Pool Villa and Wilderness Pool Villa now feature an extended private pool deck measuring 3 x 4 metres, while the Anantara Two Bedroom Family Pool Villas boast larger swimming pools measuring 4 by 5 metres on a private deck, perfect to bask in the beaming island sun. With ultimate privacy in mind, the new villas are now complemented with barasti (palm leaves) fencing on the side, and the two-bedroom family villas offer complete fencing all around for a seamless private escape. The villa upgrades at Anantara Al Sahel Villa Resort follow similar upgrades at sister resort Anantara Al Yamm Villa Resort, a private sanctuary on the Eastern shores of Sir Bani Yas Island, where 30 beautifully elevated beachfront villas were unveiled last year. Beyond its luxurious accommodation options, Sir Bani Yas Island stands as a testament to the UAE’s dedication to conservation and heritage, shaped by the vision of the nation’s Founding Father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The island is home to over 11,000 animals and 30 species, including giraffes, endangered Arabian Oryx, gazelles, and flamingos. Guests can experience these animals up close through guided wildlife tours, immersing themselves in the UAE’s rich natural heritage. * Find Anantara Al Sahel Villa Resort on stand HC3240
