Passenger Assistance was developed to simplify travel for disabled and older individuals, he explains. It eliminates the need to navigate multiple websites or deal with complex, time-consuming processes, allowing users to request assistance easily. This innovative technology bridges the accessibility gap in the travel industry, fostering inclusivity and convenience.

“A pioneering dual-focus technology designed to benefit both passengers with accessibility needs and organisations within the travel sector, it puts disabled and older individuals at the forefront. The app and web interface were co-designed with the community, ensuring it truly addresses their needs,” Ahmed tells us.

For travellers, it facilitates seamless communication of access requirements ahead of time, reducing barriers and improving the overall travel experience. For organisations, it serves as a comprehensive end-to-end solution, automating tasks and optimising resource allocation. Airlines, hotels, and travel bookers can utilise the platform to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline their assistance processes.

“Transreport aims to expand its presence in the Middle East by partnering with businesses, organisations and governments to drive accessibility excellence,” says Ahmed.
