
Britain's hotel landscape is experiencing a significant surge in new openings this spring, with a focus on both sustainable practices and high-end luxury. From carbon-conscious properties to grand refurbishments, the latest additions span the country, offering diverse experiences for every type of traveller.
The Marcus Portrush, Hilton, Northern Ireland (opening June 16, 2025): Hilton introduces its Tapestry Collection to the North Antrim coast with this stylish new-build. Located less than 1.6km from Royal Portrush Golf Course, the 80-room, four-star hotel offers Atlantic views and coastal interiors, serving as a new base for exploring the Giant's Causeway. The July London Victoria, London (opening July 2025): The July Group's first overseas acquisition will debut just two minutes from Victoria Station. This hybrid apartment-hotel features Art Deco interiors inspired by nearby theatres, offering a co-working area, meeting rooms, a gym, sauna, cold room, restaurant, and a deli. The Other House Covent Garden, London (opening Winter 2025): This property blends apartment-style living with hotel amenities across seven historic buildings. Its 200 Club Flats include living, sleeping, and kitchen areas, alongside a wellness centre, lounges, and a rooftop with skyline views. Teffont House, Wiltshire (opening Winter 2025): The Beckford Group's first hotel venture, this 17-bedroom retreat transforms the 17th-century Howard’s House. Located in the idyllic village of Teffont Evias, it will feature an orangery dining room, a mini spa, and a walled garden. The Zetter Bloomsbury, London (opening Early 2026): Marking the brand's first new opening in 10 years, this hotel near Russell Square will comprise 68 bedrooms and suites, including The Sitting Room and The Orangery breakfast area with vast glass windows.
