Sugar Beach, Mauritius

Sunlife Mauritius, renowned for its four exquisite resorts–Long Beach, Sugar Beach, La Pirogue and Ambre– is revolutionising experiential travel from the GCC with transformative innovations.

A highlight for 2025 is the launch of GLOW at Long Beach Mauritius, a transformative wellness concept designed to promote personal renewal. Treatments like the Mauritian Journey and Cosmic Journey combine ancient therapies with modern spa techniques, while the calming design palette reflects Mauritius’s natural beauty.

Sugar Beach has opened Maré Maré, an exclusive beachfront dining concept where a renowned guest chef reimagines the menu each year.

Recently launched ‘Come Alive Experiences’ at Sugar Beach include crafting of unique keepsakes from recycled glass at The Glass Studio and cinema under the stars for couples and families.

The Vibe and Ride experience at Long Beach offers two exciting routes to explore the East side of Mauritius on electric bikes – an 18 km route that passes through Flacq Market, while a 22 km route that explores Bras D'eau National Park and a Hindu temple. Long Beach also offers a game of Bocce underneath palm trees - fun for all ages and easy to learn.

Ambre, Sunlife’s adults-only all-inclusive resort, has unveiled freshly renovated rooms with a more modern design and furniture and wooden flooring.

Sunlife boasts over 45 years of experience in the hospitality sector, beginning with the opening of La Pirogue, its first hotel, in 1976. Formerly known as Sun Resorts, the luxury hotel group also manages the award-winning Île aux Cerfs Golf Club and owns Shangri-La Le Touessrok, Mauritius and Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita.
