Following Spatial’s successful completion of upgrade works to Aer Lingus’s A320 Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer and A330 Door Trainer in 2017, Spatial has been appointed to manufacture an A330 Cabin Service Trainer.
The device will replicate the latest finishes in Aer Lingus’s Business and Economy cabins to allow the airline to further enhance its market-leading service offering.
Henry Robertson, managing director at Spatial, said: “Realism and quality are absolutely critical to the success of a cabin service trainer. This contract further affirms Spatial as the market leader for these devices. This is our third contract with Aer Lingus over the past 12 months and will further strengthen the close working relationship we have built with them.”
Noel Houlihan, Safety Training Officer at Aer Lingus said: “We are delighted to once again be working with Spatial on this exciting new project and we are looking forward to taking delivery of this high quality A330 Service Trainer in the coming weeks. This training device will add a whole new level of realism to our A330 training and guest experience training as we continue to develop and improve our training product.”
