Hahnair adds UK & Europe trains on Eurostar
Hahnair has added an addendum to the agreement with high-speed rail operator Eurostar, that was sealed at this year’s WTM in London. As of December 1, the UK & European train services have been available to travel agents in all markets for ticketing under the code 9F on Hahnair’s HR-169 ticket stock. To issue tickets, travel agents can use the standard ticketing process in all major GDSs.
“We are pleased to give our travel agency partners worldwide access to the excellent Eurostar services”, says Adriana C. Carrelli, Vice President Airline Business. “Through our interline agreement with Eurostar, the rail services of Eurostar and the flights of our more than 350 partner airlines can be combined on a single ticket. We have a wide network of partner airlines servicing Western Europe, and intermodal travel is extremely attractive to a wide leisure and business travel clientele. This mutually beneficial partnership exemplifies how Hahnair supports travel businesses by bridging gaps and driving growth.”

ATPI Group launches CrewHub platform
ATPI Group (ATPI), the leading travel management company (TMC) and partner to the global energy industry, launches CrewHub. This new proprietary booking platform will revolutionise group travel in the energy sector.
The first-of-its-kind self-service platform gives travel organizers the autonomy to book complex group travel with ease and the added assurance that a dedicated support team is on hand to assist whenever needed. The innovative technology enables unlimited employees from different airports or routes to be within a single booking when having a shared arrival or departure location.
For the energy industry, the platform will support crew management logistics, streamlining activities surrounding travel to and from vessels and rigs anywhere in the world.
Crew and group travel has traditionally been cumbersome and time-consuming, often requiring hours to complete a crew change or group booking from the initial email sent to the final distribution of eTickets.

Corporates demand serviced apartments
Enquiries for serviced apartment transient stays have seen steady growth globally, with those for less than seven nights increasing by 64 per cent year on year for 2023-2024, reports SilverDoor, leading serviced apartment agent. Enquiries for stays for less than a month also increased by 17 per cent for the same period. Across the Middle East rates are expected to stay high until March next year in line with peak season and key events taking place, says the final 2024 quarterly market update report from SilverDoor.
Growth in corporate demand for serviced apartment transient stays is due to corporate managers looking for greater cost-efficiency within their accommodation programmes coupled with growth in the global serviced apartment supply chain.
