OMAN Air Holidays has a package to Salalah starting at RO77 ($200),which includes flights and accommodation at a five star hotel.
For RO104 ($270) per person excluding taxes Oman Air Holidays’ guests can stay three nights and pay only for two.
This includes a return flight from Muscat with hotel transfers, free buffet breakfast, free buffet dinners and late check out. Accommodation is in the five star Hilton or Crowne Plaza Resorts.
There is also a villa offer, priced at RO77 per person ($200), excluding airport taxes but including accommodation in villas at Hotel Crowne Plaza for two nights, return flight from Muscat, airport transfers for a minimum of four people.

Oman Air flies three daily return flights between Muscat and Salalah in addition to two flights a week from Dubai to Salalah.
Also from Oman, Dollar Rent A Car will not be increasing prices during the Khareef season.

Khareef or ‘monsoon,’ happens during July and August when the winds cause cooler waters in the Indian Ocean to rise and bring temperatures down to 25 deg C.
“As people in the region have tightened their belts this year, many will opt for a summer holiday destination closer to home,” said Chakraborty. “We see an increase in car rentals in cities in Oman and the UAE to Salalah.”
The car hire company will provide tourists with added services including tour assistance, free airport pick up and drop off in Oman, and one way rentals to and from Salalah at no additional charge.
