The second edition of Qatar Travel Mart will take place from November 20 to 22

The annual Qatar Travel Mart (QTM) returns for its second edition to be held from November 20 to 22, 2023, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) in the Qatari capital.

Forecasts predict the event to be 50 per cent bigger than the inaugural year, with a turnout of around 9,000 visitors, an assembly of 200 exhibitors and up to 100 buyers representing 60 countries.

Qatar Travel Mart 2023 is held under the patronage and guidance of H.E. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and in collaboration with key partners such as the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Qatar Tourism, Katara Hospitality, Qatar Airways and Mowasalat.

The second edition of the travel mart will once again bring together the world’s leading destinations and unveil the latest trends in Sports, MICE, Business, Cultural, Leisure, Luxury, Medical, and Halal Tourism. All of these elements will converge under the overarching theme of “Places, People, and Cultures.”

The event has a vision of elevating the tourism sector and aligning with Qatar’s 2030 vision, Rawad Sleem, Co-Founder and General Manager of NeXTfairs for Exhibitions and Conferences, says.

“Qatar has emerged as the Middle East’s fastest-expanding tourism destination, a trajectory catalysed by the resounding success of the FIFA World Cup 2022. In pursuit of the ambitious goal to welcome over 6 million visitors annually by 2030, the country has orchestrated a series of triumphant endeavours, securing prominent events that underscore its ascent. Proactively seizing opportunities, Qatar is assertively establishing itself as a significant global destination within the economic landscape,” Sleem tells us.

Confirmed partners include Qatar Tourism, Qatar Airways, Katara Hospitality, Mowasalat, Saudi Tourism Authority, AMFORTH, as well as alongside a cohort of over 10 additional partners.
