Global Village unveils new attractions

Global Village, a major family destination for entertainment in Dubai, has unveiled new attractions including the House of Fear, the scariest haunted house in the region and Diggers Lab, a hydraulic digger experience at the entrance of Carnaval.

Global Village, a major  family destination for entertainment in Dubai, has unveiled new attractions including the House of Fear, the scariest haunted house in the region and Diggers Lab, a hydraulic digger experience at the entrance of Carnaval.

Now on its 27th edition, Global Village guarantees to dazzle with 27 pavilions, over 3,500 shopping outlets, more than 250 restaurants, cafes, and street food options, and captivating entertainment activities. Thrill seekers can also enjoy more than 175 rides, games, and attractions for kids and young-at-heart.

The first Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium in the region also returns to Global Village for its 4th year and welcomes over 50 new exhibits, and the new Hero’s Gallery.

 Global Village has undoubtedly become a foodie destination with its wide range of dining options that cater to every palate and cravings. There are over 250 restaurants, cafes, and street food choices, with a range of new concepts and upgraded dining options that showcase cuisines from across the globe including a floating market offering mouth-watering Asian dishes.

New this season, guests can experience high-end cuisine in four beautifully designed double-storey restaurants, overlooking Dragon Lake. For dessert lovers, a visit at Railway Market with a full spread of chocolates, cakes, pastries, ice cream, and traditional sweets is a must.

Guests can also shop and dine at the Road of Asia, a new pedestrian street featuring 43 kiosks from 13 Asian countries with authentic products from Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, Brunei, Laos, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, and the Philippines.

In addition, guests can hunt and hammer out a deal for unique products at the different country pavilions - from argan oil from Morocco, shawls from Pakistan, carpets from Iran, and other bespoke products – to keep as a personal souvenir, or as a gift for loved-ones.

Global Village also offers a remarkable range of entertainment from kid-friendly shows to electrifying dance performances, mind-blowing stunts, magic shows, and more. It presents 40,000 shows throughout the season including a new line-up of some of the world’s best performers, adorable characters, world-class concerts, cultural performances, street entertainment, and the Aqua Action Stunt Show. Guests can see over 400 performers from 40 different countries, with over 20 performances every night.

There will be Wanderers Kid Fest in February, Happiness Festival in March, and Ramadan at Global Village during the Holy Month.

Running until April 29, Global Village is open from 4:00 pm to midnight from Sunday to Wednesday, and from 4:00 pm to 1:00 am from Thursday to Saturday. During Ramadan, the timings will be from 6:00 pm to 2:00 pm. – TradeArabia News Service
