Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort appoints Italian chef
Jumeirah Group, a global luxury hospitality company and a member of Dubai Holding, has appointed Italian chef Antonio Bongiorno, Chef De Cuisine at Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort’s traditional Italian restaurant, Mare.
With over 10 years of culinary experience, the Italian born chef’s passion and dedication in the world of gastronomy have played a pivotal role in refining his cooking skills, crafting unique delicacies whilst inspiring and leading teams around him.
In his current role, Chef Antonio is responsible for creating mouth-watering courses for the property’s guests using an eclectic of Mediterranean flavours– he is also at the head of a diverse team of chefslets rephrase.
Jumeirah Group also welcomed Cristiano Rigo as Assistant Manager of Mare at Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort who brings his Italian flair to the local community and guests looking for a culinary journey of Italy. With a decade of experience in hospitality, he has worked across a roster of restaurants in Australia, United Kingdom and Dubai.
