Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, supported by the club's strategic partners Dubai Sports Council, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), the General Authority for Youth and Sports Welfare (GAYSW), and the UAE Paralympic Committee and supervised by the Dubai Club for People of Determination, the competition saw participation from 30-plus countries from across the globe.

Moussa El Hayek, chief operating officer of Al Bustan Centre & Residence, said: “The achievements of all these athletes participating in various world championships is a proof that physical disability need not be an obstacle to success. The great achievements of people of determination are a proof that strong will and perseverance are the two qualities that can help people overcome any barrier and achieve their goals. As the official hospitality partner, we always do our best to deliver an exceptional guest experience and make them feel comfortable in their surroundings and are always open to feedback to improvise our services or to accommodate special requests.”
