Crowne Plaza Bahrain unveils renovated rooms
Crowne Plaza Bahrain has unveiled its newly renovated guestrooms and its new club lounge just in time for the upcoming F1 season.
The renovated hotel was inaugurated by Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al Khalifa, chief executive officer of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), on March 18.
The ceremony was attended by the chairman of Crowne Plaza Bahrain, Farouk Yousif Al Moayyed, CEO of Gulf Hotels Group; Garfield Jones, general manager of Bahrain Tourism Company; Abdullah Al Awadhi and the general manager of Crowne Plaza Bahrain, Gilles Nicholas.
“We are pleased to witness the unveiling of the renovated Crowne Plaza Bahrain, as it comes as part of the hotel preparations for the Formula 1 2018 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, which will kick off early next month. Developing the tourism facilities and services will further enhance the kingdom’s tourism infrastructure, which is considered one of the main pillars under BTEA’s strategy to further strengthen the tourism sector,” said Shaikh Khaled.
Some 140 rooms of the hotel’s North Wing have been renovated and now feature 43-inch interactive smart televisions, new beds and curtains. Complimentary wi-fi service is also available in all guest rooms.
The Club Lounge has also been renovated and is available to hotel guests and club users only. Its unique design is characterised by the modern concept of professionalism, efficiency, high performance as well as comfort, warmth and relaxation. - TradeArabia News Service
