HILTON Worldwide is introducing its Hilton Garden Inn brand to Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province following a signing agreement with local investor Ali Saad Bin Sultan & Brother Holding Group.

The agreement will bring the 150-room Hilton Garden Inn Al Khobar to a busy, central location in Al Khobar, home to Saudi Arabia’s oil and petrochemical industry and a leading corporate and commercial destination in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

The hotel, which is scheduled to open mid-2017, will be located conveniently close to the city’s two largest shopping malls and will enjoy easy access to King Fahd International Airport and to the famous King Fahd Causeway, a 26 km road bridge connecting Saudi Arabia with their international neighbours, Bahrain.

Adrian Kurre, global head, Hilton Garden Inn said: “Hilton Garden Inn has consistently set the guest standard in the mid-range sector and Saudi Arabia is proving particularly appreciative of our award winning combination of best-in-class customer service together with affordable comfort and convenience.”

Features at the hotel will include the signature pressure-reducing Garden Sleep System bed, complimentary hi-speed internet access and the relaxation of an ergonomic Mirra chair by Herman Miller.  The hotel will also boast a range of inviting guest amenities including a health club, an outdoor pool, a business centre, large multi-function room and meeting rooms.  A lobby lounge and all day dining option will add to the welcoming service facilities at the hotel.

Rudi Jagersbacher, president, Hilton Worldwide Middle East & Africa said: “Al Khobar and the wider Dammam region in the Eastern Province is an exciting prospect for Hilton Worldwide.  The region is enjoying rapid commercial and industrial expansion and if that trend is to continue then the demand for quality hotels will be key to the continued progress and prosperity of the city.”
