Dollar to boost Oman operations

DOLLAR Rent A Car, among the fastest growing car rental companies in the Middle East and a licensee of the Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, announced the appointment of Ashraf Jallad as manager for its Oman operations. The appointment comes alongside the company’s decision to prepare for an increase in business activity during Muscat Arab Tourism Capital 2012.

Dollar Oman’s business development plans include adding two outlets in prime locations in Muscat, including the Muscat International Airport. The car rental company will have also upgraded its fleet to 2012 models and aims to increase its fleet size by 18 per cent.

Dollar Rent A Car in Oman will also focus on driving after sales service in Oman, including immediate breakdown assistance and client relation efforts. Jallad continued, “Car rental should offer the visitors to Oman a complete experience to enjoy a hassle-free stay. Most of our business comes from Middle East travellers who can easily rent a car and are excited to venture out from the city to enjoy the ghats and valleys in the Sultanate. Dollar Rent A Car in Oman currently operates in six locations across Salalah and Sohar.
