The 35th World Tourism Film Awards held at the iconic Oceanografic Valencia, Spain, declared on November 22 the ‘World’s Best Tourism Films’ in five categories – Tourism Destination Cities, Regions, Countries, Tourism Products, and Tourism Services.
A total of 27 prestigious awards were given away to outstanding tourism productions from 13 countries, all of which had achieved top positions in the highly competitive CIFFT Rankings, at the event that brought together representatives from tourism organisations, creative agencies, and diplomatic corps from across the world. Switzerland Tourism stood out, securing two World’s Best Tourism Film awards, taking the first place in the ‘Countries and Tourism Products’ categories. The Turkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency made a significant impression securing the second, third and fifth place awards in the categories of Countries, Cities, and Regions, respectively. The Catalan Tourist Board garnered multiple awards, clinching the second and third places in the Region category, and second place in Tourism Products. Spanish organisations such as Visit Valencia, Madrid Destino, Mirador torre Glòries, and Turismo de Islas Canarias were also featured among the World's Best Tourism Films. Portugal emerged as one of the countries with the most awards. The creative agency Lobby Films & Advertising claimed the first place in the Tourism Services category for their work with NewHandLab and the third place in Tourism Products for their video produced for Pampilhosa da Serra Municipality. Portuguese organisations Visit Cascais, Monção Municipality, and Quinta da Pacheca were also recognised. Other World’s Best Tourism Film awards went to Bielsko-Biała City Hall (Poland), Wesgro (South Africa), Qatar Tourism (Qatar), the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia (Indonesia), the Uganda Tourism Board (Uganda), Zagreb County Tourist Board (Croatia), Carlton Cannes (France), VisitSydsjælland-Møn (Denmark), the influencer Robert Dacesin (Bosnia & Herzegovina) and Zeke Film (France).
