Three of the top 4 adventures reserved by solo travellers for 2024 are in Africa, accordign to a study by Overseas Adventure Travel (OAT), a leader in personalised small group and solo-friendly travel for Americans ages 50+.
More than 50% of OAT travellers are solos, and 85% of solo travellers are women. OAT fosters an intimate and accessible experience, with groups limited to no more than 16 travellers by land and no more than 25 by sea.
