The upcoming Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2022 will host a conference of the Women in Aviation Middle East Chapter, a non-profit association dedicated to providing opportunities to women striving for careers in the aviation industry.

Launched in the UAE, the Women in Aviation Middle East Chapter (WAI-ME) brings together women working in all areas of aviation to inspire and encourage others to consider a fulfilling career in aviation. This underscores WAI-ME’s mission to encourage and nurture women to consider and seek opportunities in aviation and aerospace by providing them with information, education, scholarship, internship and comprehensive resources.

“One of our major goals is to engage members in an educational network to showcase the many contributions and achievements of regional women to the industry,” said WAI-ME’s President, Mervat Sultan. “Abu Dhabi Air Expo is a great platform for us to highlight female role models in the region.”

“We’re delighted to have Women in Aviation returning to Air Expo. Current and future generations of women can achieve their goals by working in the industry, and the Expo is a great opportunity to introduce them to a wide variety of careers,” said SHK Mohammed Al Mualla, Director of the Organizing Committee of Abu Dhabi Air Expo.

The Air Expo event, running from November 1 to 3 at Al Bateen Executive Airport will feature the latest innovations in private jet aircraft, helicopters, executive charter services, airport equipment and services, avionics systems, insurance and financing.

Over 80 aircraft from ultra-light to heavy jets will be on display for delegates seeking out a variety of aircraft and aviation-related services. This year’s event will include a new format that divides the exhibition into three main areas: aircraft hangar, chalets and outdoor static display. It will also feature a conference program providing industry thought leaders a forum to share the latest thinking on general aviation and aerospace developments. – TradeArabia News Service
