Mandarin Prague rolls out winter getaways

Mandarin Oriental Prague, a five-star hotel in the Czech Republic, is inviting tourists to enjoy the traditional charm it offers this festive season with the introduction of two new holiday getaway offers - Winter Escapes and New Year’s Eve in Prague.

Wrapped in Bohemian charm, Prague makes for a special holiday and wintertime setting with the aroma of mulled wine and roasted chestnuts, traditional Christmas markets, live concerts and streets that are aglow with decorations.

Nestled in a peaceful former Dominican monastery and within walking distance from the historic city centre, the luxury hotel is the perfect spot for winter escapes.  Guests can enjoy the magic of Prague’s holiday atmosphere whilst wandering the picturesque cobbled streets.

The hotel’s Winter Escape package starts at €335 ($430.57). It includes a complimentary third night after two consecutive nights’ stay and daily breakfast for two.

Guests staying at the hotel over the festive holiday period, may also enjoy a gourmet Christmas Eve dinner and special Christmas-themed wine brunch at the hotel’s signature Essensia restaurant. The restaurant will serve a six-course Christmas Eve dinner menu at €99 ($127.24) per person; and a four-course Christmas wine brunch on December 25 priced at EUR48 ($67.69) per person, including wine pairing. 

The splendid New Year’s Eve in Prague package will ensure that 2015 starts on a high note. This package is available from December 29 to January 2 with rates starting at €575 ($739), and will include daily buffet breakfast for two at Essensia restaurant; a festive gala buffet dinner for two at the hotel’s Baroque Grand Ballroom; festive in-room amenities on arrival; lavish New Year’s Day breakfast at Essensia until 12 pm; and Bohemian crystal souvenir to remember your stay.
