BIC commemorates Kuwait’s 64th National Day

Bahrain International Airport (BIA), managed and operated by Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), joined the Kingdom of Bahrain in celebrating Kuwait’s 64th National Day, highlighting the deep-rooted ties between the two nations and their shared history of collaboration.
 
To mark this occasion, BIA extended warm greetings to Kuwaiti passengers traveling with Gulf Air, Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways.
 
The Bahrain-Kuwait route remains a vital connection for both countries, with around 430 k passengers traveling between Bahrain and Kuwait through BIA in 2024. 
 
This route is served by an average of 42 flights per week, operated by Gulf Air, Kuwait Airways, and Jazeera Airways.
 
Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has been operating flights to Kuwait since 1959 and currently offers four daily flights, totaling 28 weekly services.
 
 In 2024, Gulf Air carried 252,493 passengers on this route, reflecting its importance in connecting the two nations.
 
 Kuwait Airways began operations to Bahrain in 1965, while Jazeera Airways launched its services in 2005, further enhancing travel options for passengers.
