Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre Hotel celebrated its 25 years of hospitality last year with a series of events and activities.
Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre has been a hospitality landmark in the area, welcoming guests from all over the world, since opening its doors in 1998. Standing over the Dubai Creek and conveniently attached to City Centre Deira shopping mall, the 313-key property has solidified itself as a reliable, welcoming and premium hospitality destination in the Dubai Creek area.
Throughout 2023, the property has unveiled a range of specially curated offers, competitions on social media and events, in addition to the exclusive gifts, packages and offers available for all guests.
“For many years, Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre Hotel has been hosting various high-profile Sri Lankan events, including weddings and social gatherings, and has welcomed numerous Sri Lankan dignitaries,” Nishan Silva, Regional General Manager at Accor, tells TTN.
“To celebrate 25 years of hospitality, Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre Hotel hosted a series of exciting events and activities in honour of its significant anniversary. The festivities commenced with a Gala Dinner, welcoming VIP guests, key clientele, media, and influencers. The hotel also introduced special offers aimed at enhancing guests’ stays and experiences.
“These include the exclusive curated tea – Celebration Pekoe Tea by Dilmah – with notes of saffron, almond and honey and 25 Anniversary signature tea High-tea at t-Lounge by Dilmah, an anniversary drinks menu, special spa and room packages, and the Secret Concierge, where lucky guests discover an envelope upon check-in that invites them to enjoy exclusive experiences, among other offerings.”
Honouring the 25 years of hospitality in the sweetest fashion, Executive Pastry Chef at Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre, Chef Dammika Herath, also created a luxurious box of chocolates using 25-year-old vintage cocoa from Gran Couva, Trinidad.
The hotel took guests back in time with a unique stay experience – Step Back Suite, which was designed with décor that took guests back to a nostalgic time. The celebrations concluded with the Chronicles of Ceylon festival this November and the festive celebrations – Christmas & New Years in December.
“The hotel’s Executive Chef, Rozio Methias, and Executive Pastry Chef, Dammika Herath, both hailing from Sri Lanka, represent different regions of the island country. Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre Hotel has earned a reputation not only for presenting sophisticated international cuisines but also for offering high-quality, flavourful, and authentic Sri Lankan food to its patrons.”
Through the Chronicles of Ceylon, both chefs brought flavours from their heritage and recipes passed down over generations, with each dish telling a story woven with tradition.
“One of the primary motives for hosting this food festival was to entice and introduce our guests to the beautiful cuisine of Sri Lanka. The aim is not only to cater to the Sri Lankan residents of the UAE but also to those who are interested in exploring and learning more about the country’s food, culture, and culinary heritage.”
