All-electric karting track opens in Ajman

Ajman Tourism has launched an environment-friendly indoor karting track in the heart of city that will merge entertainment and sustainability.

Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) inaugurated Tarfih Karting, a groundbreaking innovative project that will be driven by electric and eco-conscious vehicles.

The nation's first eco-friendly karting destination is located amidst the picturesque Al Zorah area, and is now officially open to the public aged 10 and above, said a statement.

A major stride forward in sustainable entertainment, the karting circuit harnesses clean energy sources and reduces environmental impact.

Tarfih Karting boasts a unique double track, a first in the country, ensuring an exhilarating experience for karting enthusiasts, with ample seating for spectators, said the statement. The circuit features challenging turns and tracks, suitable for both beginners and experienced drivers.

The advanced electric karts are equipped with safety features including cages, safety belts, and adjustable speed settings. Prior to hitting the track, professionals provide comprehensive safety guidance to the drivers.

Alhashmi said that Tarfih Karting enriches the emirate's entertainment offerings and embodies the essence of environmental sustainability, while serving as a popular entertainment destination for families and visitors.

Tarfih Karting also serves as a venue for birthday celebrations, corporate events, and team-building activities, offering customised packages for various occasions. – TradeArabia News Service
