We spoke to Georges Farhat, general manager, for more insight into what makes the hotel tick, and he assures that the location is great for leisure travellers as well. “Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina, with its value for money proposition and standard of service will offer guests the best of both worlds.

“Within Dubai, the Marina area offers a lot to both business travellers with close proximity to many important business hubs including JLT, Internet City, Media City and Jebel Ali, and for leisure travellers with access to many important tourist features such as JBR beach and the many restaurants.

“An upscale business-class hotel, delivering distinctive stay and meeting experiences to our guests combined seamlessly with an extensive leisure offering within its surroundings which includes six distinctive dining outlets and utilisation of the latest technology such as the Sleep Advantage programme, which features an innovative wake-up service, which offers guests a better night sleep and the chance to truly recharge.”

Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina is an upscale business-class hotel and aims to elevate and redefine the business travel experience with five distinct pillars, explains Farhat. These pillars include thoughtful design, gather and thrive, dare to connect, inspiring restaurants and bars, and relax and revive. Thoughtful design means the hotel will provide a stylish and relaxing setting conducive to a productive stay experience; under gather and thrive, Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina will offer best-in-class meeting facilities. With dare to connect, the hotel will offer a seamless service experience that encourages warm, engaging interactions between colleagues and guests.

Inspiring restaurants and bars – “At Crowne Plaza we recognise the advantage of business out of the board room and understand that food is more than just fuel but the key to feeling good and more productive,” says Farhat. With relax and revive the hotel is designed with the connected, tech-savvy traveller in mind. The technology driven rooms will enable guest to switch off and truly relax.

The most important feeder markets for the hotel will be the surrounding GCC nations, the United Kingdom, Germany and the local residents, with the main revenue channels for the hotel being corporate, Mice and leisure bookings. “The team will work in a strategic manner to targets these audiences, showcasing the hotels unique facilities through collaborations with tour operators and a establishing a presence at key exhibitions. Digital marketing will also be a key marketing tool for us in our approach to these markets as we look to capitalise on the growing trend towards online travel bookings,” says the general manager.
