GSAs appointed for new destinations

Oman Air has appointed general sales agents (GSAs) in three of its soon-to-be-launched-destinations – Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Dar Es Salam in Tanzania and Kathmandu in Nepal.

The carrier will begin operations to Kuala Lumpur from the May 1, to Dar Es Salam from June 1 and to Kathmandu from June 17.

In Malaysia, Oman Air has appointed ABDA Aviation and in Tanzania, the Rickshaw Travel Group (RTG) is the airline’s new GSA. The Group, which has more than 22 years of experience in the field of travel, tourism and related services, is a leading travel service provider to the corporate sector in East Africa.

In Nepal, Oman Air has appointed Amravati Travels, which has been in the business for more than two decades serving the travelling community of Nepal.

Commenting on the move Abdulrazaq Alraisi, general manager, worldwide sales said: “The Board and the management of Oman Air are confident that our new GSAs will deliver a top-class service to Oman Air and will help in bringing new and more business from these markets. We are sure that both inbound tourism and outbound tourism between Oman and these countries will prosper greatly.”
