ELENA targets the global gap in informed care

Building on a successful industry dialogue in Dubai, spa and wellness management company ELE|NA has unveiled a specialised five-day immersive retreat, The Art of Graceful Change, designed to support women navigating the complexities of hormonal transition into menopause.

Taking place from June 4 to 8, 2026, at OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi in Maldives, the programme moves away from clinical, symptom-focused approaches toward a holistic model of biological recalibration and empowerment.

The initiative follows the Wellness on Deck gathering held on February 11, 2026, in Dubai, where practitioners and leaders identified a significant gap in informed care for women’s hormonal health. The retreat aims to address these unmet needs by providing a nurturing environment for education and restoration.

Reframing hormonal health

ELE|NA’s philosophy treats menopause not as a decline, but as a biological transition that requires a new set of literacy tools.

The programme is designed to help participants understand the interconnected neurological and metabolic shifts that occur during hormonal rebalancing.

Key pillars of the June retreat include:

Hormonal Literacy: Understanding nervous system regulation and metabolic health.

Physical Longevity: Focusing on strength, mobility, and joint health to support evolving physiology.

Emotional Resilience: Navigating identity transitions and fostering self-perception and confidence.

Sustainable Rituals: Developing personalised wellness practices under the Wellness Your Way framework.

The Science

The choice of OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi is intentional. Experts suggest that a calm, sensory-rich environment allows the nervous system to absorb new information more effectively. The retreat utilises the Maldives' natural light cycles and ocean rhythms to assist in sleep regulation and stress reduction - two critical factors in maintaining hormonal balance.

The Art of Graceful Change aims to bridge the gap between motivation and accurate information. By combining specialist-led workshops with a supportive community, the retreat positions itself as a form of preventative lifestyle medicine.

Guests are expected to leave with a sustainable blueprint for long-term wellbeing rather than a temporary reset.
