Planning an itinerary for the summer Olympic Games at Paris 2024 (July 26 to August 11)? Consider extending your client journey with a stop at Disneyland Paris, which boasts new park experiences and the world’s first Disney-themed five-star hotel.
“Disneyland Paris has grown with its guests to become Europe’s number one tourist destination,” Denys Hryvas, Sales Promotions Manager - Middle East at The Walt Disney Company, said at a roadshow held in Dubai for leading travel advisors. Disneyland Paris is a multi-day resort offering two world-class theme parks (Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park), seven themed Disney hotels and Villages Nature Paris, a 27-hole golf course, the Disney Village entertainment complex, and Europe’s largest integrated corporate events venue. Disneyland Hotel Paris, the first five-star hotel in the world dedicated to Disney stories, reopened its doors in January 2024 after being completely reimagined. The 487-key hotel, located at the entrance of Disneyland Paris, offers world-class hospitality, vibrant storytelling, unique entertainment, creative dining, and all the amenities and services expected of an international five-star hotel – even for our youngest guests. At the heart of the experience are 800 cast members, each trained to an extraordinary standard of service so that every guest receives royal treatment. Especially apt for the Middle East market, Hryvas recommends The Castle Club, featuring 41 Castle Club Rooms, 16 Signature Suites, 1 Princely Suite and 1 Royal Suite. “The Castle Club is nicknamed a hotel within a hotel for all the exclusive benefits it comes with. Located on the top two floors, it provides the discretion of a private elevator and a dedicated check-in area and all new and upgraded finest living amenities. Guests staying in a Castle Club room or suite also have access to the Castle Club Lounge that offers a breakfast with Disney Princess Characters,” says Hryvas. The 16 Signature Suites, the Princely Suite and the Royal Suite, a part of the Castle Club offering, deliver the hotel’s most high end and immersive experience as they feature unique design elements directly inspired from Disney royal classics that transport guests into these beloved stories throughout their stay. Children receive the royal treatment with a dedicated arrival experience and other special offerings. At the Royal Kids Club, cast members welcome children as they take part in interactive experiences and families can book a Disney Royal Encounter and pose with one of the Disney Princesses. My Royal Dream assigns kids a cast member as their personal stylist where they themselves can become a Disney Prince or Princess of choice. Guests staying at a Disney hotel within the resort also get to enter the Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park up to one hour before the park opens to the public on certain days of the week. Disneyland Paris is located two minutes away from one of the busiest TGV hubs in France, making it easily accessible by rail. If guests are arriving on the Euro Star, their luggage is taken straight to the hotel. There is also a free shuttle bus to take you straight to the parks. For those who prefer to drive, there is free parking. From April 2024, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue has been taking guests on some all-new adventures. These new additions will feature characters and locations from Disney+ new series – Ahsoka, Andor, and The Mandalorian. Disneyland Paris will add a major Frozen experience - World of Frozen, a new immersive area in April 2025 – as part of a major ongoing expansion. Currently there are five ships in Disney Cruises portfolio, with plans of a new ship, Disney Treasure, to set sail in December 2024. All Disney Cruises, which had the first ever fireworks at sea, are all inclusive (including 24-hour rooms service, except adult beverages). Disney Fantasy will be in Europe in 2025, which is a great opportunity to be activated in the region, says Hryvas. Clients should download the Disneyland Resorts App and Disney Cruise Line Navigator app at least a month in advance, as this is where they can book their adventures, restaurants, see how long the queues are and much more. The trade could register for the Disney Travel Agent Training available through the Travel Agents website and become a Disney specialist.
