Visit Bahrain, a Bahrain-based destination management company, has announced the launch of the Unique Travel Fair, a specialised tourism fair, from February 11-13.
 
The event, organised in partnership with the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), will attract top global tourism and hospitality industry players, including top brands and industry leaders.
 
The event, marking its first-ever edition in Bahrain and the Middle East, is one of the largest specialised tourism fairs.
 
It will attract hundreds of visitors and exhibitors from Europe, Asia, and beyond, offering a platform for industry experts to explore emerging trends and foster new business collaborations.
 
The two-day workshop will showcase exhibitors' diverse tourism packages and experiences.
 
Sarah Ahmed Buhijji, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), welcomed the launch of the ‘Unique Travel Fair’ with the participation of numerous Bahraini exhibitors, and emphasised the opportunities the fair presents for local tourism, hospitality, and aviation companies to showcase their distinctive offerings and travel packages to a global audience.
 
Buhijji commended the private tourism sector’s efforts in strengthening partnerships with international travel agents and reinforcing Bahrain’s position as a premier tourism Hub and underscored the fair’s alignment with the Tourism Strategy 2022-2026.
 
The CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority further highlighted the significance of the event, as Bahrain prepares to host a series of major entertainment and cultural events that attract visitors from across the Gulf, the wider region, and international markets, and noted that it serves as an ideal platform for international tourism stakeholders to explore Bahrain’s diverse tourism experiences.
 
Ali Amralla, CEO of Visit Bahrain, emphasised that hosting the ‘Unique Travel Fair’ underscores the company’s commitment to showcasing Bahrain’s vast tourism potential and its capacity to host major international business and hospitality events, and noted that such exhibitions play a crucial role in boosting Bahrain’s tourism sector.
 
“As we usher in the new year, Visit Bahrain remains focused on strengthening ties with leading global tourism stakeholders to highlight Bahrain’s unique appeal as a premier destination for tourists,” said Amralla. “The Kingdom is well-positioned to attract diverse tourist groups from around the world, thanks to its distinguished and pioneering tourism companies, which serve as key industry references for knowledge exchange and market expansion.”
 
The Unique Travel Fair is set to feature a distinguished lineup of exhibitors, including Air Arabia, Emirates Airline, Saadiyat Abu Dhabi , Gulf Air, the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), Taj Maldives, Rixos Hotels , Anantara Resort, Majestic Resorts, and many more. -TradeArabia News Service
