HYATT Capital Gate Abu Dhabi was named the Best Business/City Hotel at the prestigious Middle East Hotel Awards 2014 ceremony, which took place in early June at Atlantis, The Palm, in Dubai. This year, the event saw more than 30 shortlisted hotels and suppliers compete for prizes in 18 categories with brands from across the middle east – Saudi, Qatar, UAE, Jordan and Kuwait.
Grand Hyatt Dubai won the Best Conference and Banquet Facilities in the Middle East with judges recognising the versatility and breadth of event facilities available within the hotel covering 5,000 sq m of event space. The presence of Al Manzil, one of the largest pillar-less ballrooms in the city as well as enchanting outdoor venues were key facilities contributing to this recognition. This is also the second time the hotel has received this award in the awards three-year history.In addition, for the second consecutive year, Ahasees Spa & Club, Grand Hyatt Dubai was awarded the honour of having the “Best Hotel Recreational Facilities” in the Middle East for its holistic approach to leisure, health, wellness and recreation for the whole family.
