Dubai Airports suspends all flight operations

Dubai Airports has confirmed that all flight operations at Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International (DWC) are suspended until further notice.

The move follows Iranian missile attacks on the UAE following US and Israeli strikes against Iran in the morning of Saturday.

Passengers must not travel to the airport and are advised to contact their airline directly for the latest flight updates, it said.

"We are closely monitoring the situation and will provide further updates as soon as available," it added.

Dubai-based Emirates airline said regional airspace closures have caused disruption to several Emirates flights. However, it didn't say which flights have been affected.

"We are actively monitoring the situation, engaging with relevant authorities, and adjusting our operations in line with the latest developments. Emirates adheres to all regulatory requirements and follows guidance issued by aviation authorities," it said.
