Nestled amidst the dramatic peaks of Oman’s Jabal Akhdar, a new boutique hotel promises a unique blend of ancient traditions and contemporary comfort.

This marks a significant milestone for IHG, with Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar becoming the first resort in the region under the brand. Each Hotel Indigo property draws inspiration from its location, aiming to create a warm and inviting atmosphere that reflects the local culture.

Having opened its doors on September 1, earlier this year, the resort offers guests a chance to reconnect with nature and immerse themselves in the rich local culture this winter season.

With 173 beautifully designed rooms, suites, and chalets, the hotel boasts breathtaking mountain views. The design reflects the region’s heritage, using colours and textures reminiscent of the landscape. Guests can expect curated experiences that bring to life the stories of local communities who have thrived in this rugged terrain for centuries.

Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar Resort & Spa offers more than just a stay. It’s an invitation to explore the surrounding area. Guests can wander through historic villages, discover ancient cave dwellings, or simply soak up the fresh mountain air.

Jala Spa & Wellness offers a range of rejuvenating treatments inspired by both ancient Omani traditions and modern techniques. The spa boasts spacious treatment areas, immune-boosting Himalayan salt rooms, thermal zones, and relaxing indoor pools.

The resort features three distinct dining venues, showcasing fresh local ingredients and the influence of the spice trade. Vue Rooftop & Lounge, the highest rooftop in the Middle East, offers panoramic views alongside its signature wood-fired dishes and craft cocktails. Wadi Habib serves authentic Omani cuisine, while Zaatar provides a vibrant all-day dining experience.
