SONESTA Hotel, Tower & Casino Cairo has been chosen to host the forthcoming African Snooker Championship and the African 6 Reds Championship which will be held in conjunction with the Egyptian Federation of Billiards Sports and in partnership with intoegypt. The event, which takes place from June 16 to 25, will be held at the resort’s Iris Ballroom and players are so far confirmed from as far afield as Mozambique, Mauritius, Tanzania, Sudan and Morocco, with others expected to attend from South Africa and Tunisia. The championships will be held under the auspices of the Egyptian Sports Council and are expected to attract a wide range of spectators and fans from across the world.
