Air India Express is expanding its India–West Asia network under its Winter 2026 schedule, with up to 135 daily departures connecting 23 Indian cities with 12 gateways across Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
The airline will
operate 88 non-stop city-pair routes to West Asia this winter, making the
region the largest component of its international network.
Overall, Air India
Express plans up to 150 daily international departures across 99 destinations
worldwide.
The expanded schedule
will increase frequencies from key hubs and focus cities including Bengaluru,
Delhi, Mumbai, Kochi, Kozhikode and Hyderabad, strengthening connectivity to
major West Asian destinations such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Dammam, Jeddah,
Riyadh, Doha, Muscat, Kuwait City and Al Ain.
Air India Express said
the expansion is aimed at providing greater choice and convenience for
passengers travelling between India and West Asia for work, family visits and
leisure.
The airline will also
deploy retrofitted aircraft on several West Asia routes as part of its fleet
modernisation programme.
The Winter 2026
schedule, running until 27 March 2027, forms part of the airline’s largest-ever
winter programme.
Alongside its West
Asia expansion, Air India Express is increasing capacity at its Bengaluru and
Delhi hubs, introducing new domestic routes and deploying retrofitted aircraft
across its wider network. -TradeArabia News Service
