LEVA Hotels has signed a landmark agreement with Revitus Property Opportunities REIT (managed by CBZ Asset Management) to transform Chester House in Harare, Zimbabwe. The property will be redeveloped into a 117-key, 3-star upscale hotel under the EKONO by LEVA brand.
The hotel is scheduled to open after a full redevelopment. This project marks LEVA Hotels’ debut in Southern Africa and strengthens its international expansion strategy across Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Located in Harare’s central business district, the hotel will offer modern rooms, social spaces, and curated dining for business and leisure guests. The collaboration reflects a shared vision between LEVA Hotels and Revitus REIT to revitalise an iconic landmark and enhance Harare’s hospitality landscape. It also aims to set new benchmarks for design-led, upscale accommodation while preserving Chester House’s heritage.
