Deutsche Hospitality launches 'BE'
WITH BE Deutsche Hospitality, launched exclusively for hotel partners, franchisees and investors, the hospitality brand offers new service solutions and a transparent fee model.
The new “BE Deutsche Hospitality” partner programme offers a new service concept containing a host of digital solutions which are precisely tailored to the needs of its hotel partners. Everything has been combined to form an all-in package.

Dorchester Collection to open The Lana
DORCHESTER Collection, a portfolio of nine legendary properties, and OMNIYAT have announced that their new luxury landmark, The Lana, will open end of this year in the heart of Dubai, in the Burj Khalifa District and overlooking the vibrant Business Bay area.
Under the leadership of general manager Caroline-Jane Houston, The Lana, with its 225 guest rooms, marks Dorchester Collection’s first address in the Middle East. The Lana is a striking 30-storey tower designed by the award-winning architects Foster + Partners that perfectly captures the essence of its destination and brings an unparalleled ultra-luxury experience to Downtown Dubai.
Hotel guests will be able to relax at the Beach Club at One at Palm Jumeirah, Dorchester Collection, Dubai, accessed via a short and scenic boat ride. With interiors by Parisian duo Gilles & Boissier, The Lana is designed to accentuate Dubai’s stunning vistas, with views of the Burj Khalifa, beautiful sunsets to the northwest and seemingly endless landscapes to the southeast.
LUX* Grand Baie Resort & Residences opens
LUX* Resorts & Hotels’ new flagship in Mauritius opened its doors to welcome its first guests, coinciding with LUX* Resorts & Hotels’ 10th anniversary last month. Marriott signs six-project deal in Turkey
LAST month, Marriott International signed an agreement with The Aktarlı Group to open six properties in prime locations across Turkey. The agreement marks the introduction of the Tribute Portfolio in Turkey, and further expands the Autograph Collection Hotels, The Luxury Collection and AC Hotels brands throughout the country.
The agreement includes six adaptive reuse and conversion projects in vibrant areas of Istanbul and Izmir. Close to the city’s embassies and museums, Adahan Pera Istanbul, Autograph Collection is slated to open in 2022. DeCamondo Galata, Istanbul, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel compromised of three historic buildings is also slated to open next year. AC by Marriott Istanbul Old Town and two Luxury Collection properties, Legacy Ottoman, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Istanbul and Sansaryan Han, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Istanbul, are anticipated to open in 2023. The new-build AC by Marriott Izmir Karşıyaka will be situated on the coastline of Izmir and is slated to open in 2022.
