Hatta border crossing ready for Eid traffic

UAE’s Hatta Customs Center said the Hatta border crossing, a strategic point for passengers and tourists from the Gulf states and land transport, is ready to receive passengers during the Eid Al Adha holidays.
The crossing facilitates trade and passenger movement between Dubai and Oman, with around two million passengers crossing the border annually.
Talking about the procedures the Land Customs Management at Dubai Customs took to facilitate trade and passenger traffic during the Eid holiday, Hamad Kajour, director of Hatta Border Crossing said: “We are committed to provide the best customs services in fulfilment of Dubai Customs vision of supporting legitimate trade and promoting Dubai as a world class touristic and business hub.
“We are expecting between 8,000 and 10,000 passengers crossing the border daily during the holy occasion. For this we have dedicated 4 lanes to deal with the passenger traffic at rush hours, with more officers on duty who will help passengers and welcome them with a smile and Eid sweets.” – TradeArabia News Service
