Novotel & Adagio Abu Dhabi Al Bustan, Abu Dhabi, UAE, has made three senior appointments. Bruno Debray has been named the new general manager of the four-star complex. He has over 33 years of experience in the industry.
The hotel has appointed Hazem Makled as the executive assistant manager. Makled has over 19 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. Ashraf Ramez, who has over 15 years experience in the industry, has been named the rooms division manager of the property.
Storey joins Kempinski Soma Bay Kempinski Hotel Soma Bay has appointed Russel Storey as the new general manager of the exclusive luxury hotel. Storey joins the hotel with over two decades of experience at different international chains. His most recent posting was as general manager at Jordan Valley Marriott Resort & Spa in the Dead Sea – Jordan.
New F&B director at Amwaj Rotana Amwaj Rotana Jumeirah Beach, Dubai has welcomed Hossam El Said as director of food and beverage. He brings with him more than 15 years of international experience within the industry. El Said joined the Rotana family in 2010 as assistant food and beverage director.

With almost 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Abbas has worked in Switzerland, the UK, Pakistan and the UAE. He has held the position of cluster associate director of sales in Hilton Hotels & Resorts Dubai.
Key position for Amr El BacklyAmr El Backly has been promoted as the area director of finance and business support for InterContinental Hotels Group, Africa. Amr joined InterContinental Hotels Group in 2012 as the director of finance and business support, Egypt. He has more than 28 years of experience in the industry.
New GM for Hyatt Regency Dubai Hyatt Regency Dubai has welcomed Stéphane Blanc as the new general manager of the hotel. Blanc joins Hyatt Regency Dubai from a long career with Starwood, where he last held the position of deputy general manager at the Le Méridien Dubai hotel, before opening his own food and beverage consulting company.
