Aqua is one of nine signature restaurants and lounges at the property.

ROSEWOOD Abu Dhabi, an ultra-luxury hotel located on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE, celebrated its grand opening in October this year. Echoing Rosewood’s relaunched brand identity, the opening ceremony was entitled ‘Rosewood Abu Dhabi: Unlocking A Sense of Place’.

Inspired by the ‘sense of place’ philosophy which ensures that each property is a reflection of the local culture in which it operates, and the group’s Living Canvas campaign that illustrates Rosewood’s unique approach to hospitality, the relaunch comes during an exciting period of global expansion for the group.  The first Rosewood hotel in Europe welcomed its first guests at Rosewood London in the UK early October and additional openings are scheduled across in Asia and the Middle East in the near future.

ELITE DESTINATION

Luigi Romaniello, managing director, Rosewood Abu Dhabi, comments: “Rosewood Abu Dhabi exemplifies the Rosewood Sense of Place philosophy through a distinct and personalised luxury lifestyle experience in the heart of Abu Dhabi. Inspired by the glistening Arabian Gulf and the deep rooted history with the dhow, our hotel has a distinct character which appeals to residents and tourists alike. With the recent opening of The Galleria, and continuous developments around us on Al Maryah Island, the district is truly becoming an elite luxury lifestyle destination.”

Rosewood Abu Dhabi offers nine signature restaurants and lounges including Aqua, a 24-hour Northern Italian and Mediterranean restaurant, Spice Mela, a Pan-Indian restaurant, the Hidden Bar, a cosy lounge with an extensive beverage selection, Sambusek, a Lebanese restaurant, Smoke, Sambusek’s shisha terrace, La Cava, a sommelier cellar, Majlis Lobby Lounge, the hotel’s living room, and Glo, an open-air lounge Catalan, Abu Dhabi’s first Catalonian restaurant.

Rosewood Abu Dhabi features eight fully-equipped conference and event spaces including a ballroom which can accommodate up to 1,000 guests, pool and gym facilities, and Sense, a Rosewood spa.
