Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) is back for its 26th edition from December 17 this year until January 30, 2021, with over six weeks of family fun and entertainment, live concerts, unique markets, art installations and stage shows plus super sales, unmissable promotions and chances to win life-changing prizes planned for residents and visitors to enjoy across the city.
This will be the last major event on Dubai’s calendar, as Dubai Tourism participates in WTM Virtual with more than 35 partners including Ain Dubai – the world’s tallest Ferris wheel; EXPO 2020 Dubai; Al Maha, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa; and Zaha Hadid-designed ME Dubai. Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), this year’s DSF will start a week earlier than usual, so families, couples and friends can make the most of the school holidays, festive period and end of year sales season starting December 26 in Dubai. The exciting line-up of events will kick off with a breathtaking opening weekend on December 17 – the perfect introduction to an amazing line-up of events including concerts by world-famous music stars, stunning light and fireworks shows, entertainment in malls and activations by big name retail brands, plus extra special celebrations on New Year’s Eve and into 2021. As always, DSF will be a family-friendly affair with each of the participating malls and event venues keeping up the high health and safety standards in line with local regulations. The automotive raffles are taking things up a gear this DSF with W Motors, the Dubai-based supercar company. Stealing the show this year – W Motors is giving away a Fenyr sportscar to one lucky winner. Customers who purchase a scale model of a Fenyr car for Dh1,500 ($410) could drive off in the real thing, which is worth Dh6 million. Each purchase comes with an extra special raffle coupon, with only 3,500 coupons available. The winner will receive a customised version of one of the world’s rarest, most unique and fastest sports cars, built right here in Dubai. Scale models and raffle coupons can be purchased online and at special W Motors kiosks located at City Walk, while the license plate on each scale model Fenyr car can also be customised to display a number of the buyer’s choosing. DSF will see the return of the super-popular INFINITI Mega Raffle, with a host of different prizes, including cash rewards and the chance to win a brand-new INFINITI car. Raffle tickets priced at Dh200 can be purchased at selected ENOC and EPCO petrol stations, Zoom stores and Dubai Metro stations, while shoppers who spend Dh200 at landmark destinations The Gold Souk and Global Village plus participating shopping malls will also enter a raffle to land an INFINITI QX60 car and Dh200,000. A total of 45 INFINITI QX60 vehicles will be given away during DSF with daily draws taking place at Global Village. One lucky winner will also win an incredible Dh500,000 on the final day of the festival. DSF’s super Nissan Grand Raffle will see 45 lucky winners drive off in a brand-new Nissan, with five of the automotive brand’s most popular models to be given away along with super cash prizes of AED10,000 per week. Shoppers need to spend just AED25 on non-fuel items at any EPCO or ENOC petrol station in Dubai to win during DSF. The Nissan Grand Raffle will give away two Nissan Patrols, one Nissan Pathfinder, eight Nissan X-TRAIL crossover SUVs, 10 Nissan Kicks vehicles, 12 Nissan Micra compacts and 12 Nissan Sentra sedans. Winners will be announced at daily raffle draws throughout this year’s festival.
