Accor Group Chairman and CEO Sébastien Bazin visited Dubai to engage with UAE leadership and support teams across the region, reaffirming the company’s long-term commitment to the Middle East. Centara Hotels & Resorts is advancing water conservation across its Maldives properties, including Machchafushi Island Resort & Spa, Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa and The Atollia resorts. The group has implemented measures such as low-flow fixtures, wastewater recycling, desalination systems and real-time monitoring to reduce consumption. Some properties have achieved water usage levels significantly below industry benchmarks, with targets to cut usage by up to 10 per cent per guest night.
