Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has released its June 2026 passenger complaint index, ranking national airlines and airports based on complaint volumes and resolution performance.

Air carriers received 1,965 passenger complaints during the month.

Saudia recorded the lowest complaint rate among airlines, with 39 complaints per 100,000 passengers and an 89% on-time resolution rate.

Flynas ranked second with 56 complaints per 100,000 passengers and a 100% resolution rate, while flyadeal placed third with 81 complaints per 100,000 passengers and a 99% resolution rate.

GACA said flight services were the most common source of complaints, followed by ticketing and baggage services.

Among international airports handling more than 6 million passengers annually, King Khalid International Airport recorded the lowest complaint rate at 0.4 complaints per 100,000 passengers, resolving all 13 complaints on time.

Najran International Airport led among smaller international airports, with one complaint per 100,000 passengers and a 100% resolution rate.

King Saud Airport achieved the best performance among domestic airports, recording three complaints per 100,000 passengers and resolving its single complaint on time.

GACA said the monthly index aims to improve transparency, promote competition and support continuous service improvements across Saudi Arabia’s aviation sector. -TradeArabia News Service
