Dubai has launched “A Dubai Invite”, a new initiative encouraging residents to invite family and friends to visit the emirate while earning exclusive rewards and discounts.

Developed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), the programme runs until October 31, 2026, and is open to the city's multicultural community of nearly 200 nationalities.

Residents who register visiting guests can unlock benefits at participating hotels, attractions, restaurants and transport services.

The programme offers discounts of up to 45% on hotel stays, resort credits, savings at major attractions including Aquaventure Waterpark, IMG Worlds of Adventure and Grand Hyatt Waterpark, as well as offers at selected dining venues.

Participants will also receive benefits through Careem, including complimentary Careem Plus membership and transport rebates.

Residents welcoming visitors between July 20 and October 31, 2026, must register their guests through the official platform by 30 September, with arrivals verified by Dubai's General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs.

Each resident can unlock up to three verified rewards, with all promotional offers redeemable until December 31, 2026, extending benefits beyond their guests' stay.

Noor Al Geziry‎, AVP, Special Projects & MENA‎ at the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), said: “Our diverse resident population have always been among our most powerful and trusted ambassadors, with a deep knowledge of the destination and the ability to share their personal experience with their loved ones. At a time when personal connection and credibility matter more than ever in travel decisions, ‘A Dubai Invite’ speaks directly to what makes this city enduringly compelling: the people who call it home and who understand it best, and the families and friends they welcome here to experience it for themselves.

Al Geziry added: “The initiative reflects the ambition to establish Dubai as the best city to visit, live and work in, and aligns with the goals of the UAE’s Year of Family. With the support of our stakeholders across the public and private sectors, we are pleased to be able to appreciate this important community.” -TradeArabia News Service
