Travelsoft Pay (TSPay), the payment orchestration and issuing division of Travelsoft Group, has announced a strategic partnership with Checkout.com aimed at improving payment performance and simplifying global payment connectivity for travel businesses.
The collaboration combines Checkout.com’s global acquiring
capabilities with TSPay’s travel-focused payment orchestration platform,
creating a unified infrastructure tailored to the needs of the travel industry.
The partnership is designed to help travel companies manage
increasingly complex cross-border payment flows, multiple currencies and
diverse payment methods as they expand internationally.
Through a single integration framework, Travelsoft platforms
and their clients will gain access to global payment acceptance, intelligent
routing, payment optimisation tools, alternative payment methods and
travel-specific operational workflows.
The solution also offers improved authorisation rates,
conversion optimisation and scalable infrastructure for high-volume travel
merchants.
TSPay serves as a central orchestration layer across the
Travelsoft ecosystem, enabling travel companies to connect with multiple
payment service providers more efficiently.
The partnership is expected to benefit online travel
agencies, tour operators, bedbanks, travel management companies and travel
marketplaces by streamlining payment operations and enhancing customer payment
experiences worldwide.
Mary Cotugno, Managing Director of TSPay, said:
"Travel companies operate in one of the most complex payment environments
globally. Managing multiple payment providers, cross-border transactions,
alternative payment methods, deposits, instalment payments and long booking
cycles requires far more than a traditional payment setup.
At TSPay, our mission is to simplify that complexity by
providing the travel industry with a unified, travel-focused payment
infrastructure. Through a single orchestration layer, travel businesses can
access the payment capabilities they need while retaining the flexibility to
choose the partners that best support their growth.
Our partnership with Checkout.com represents an important
step in that journey, strengthening the ecosystem we are building for
Travelsoft platforms and their clients worldwide."
Matthieu Barral, Global Head of Partnerships,
Checkout.com added: “Travel merchants require resilient, scalable and
high-performing payment infrastructure capable of supporting international
growth and complex customer journeys. We are pleased to partner with TSPay and
support Travelsoft’s vision of delivering modern payment orchestration
capabilities to the travel sector.” -TradeArabia News Service
