The Shepherd Mayfair, a new 82-room boutique hotel in London’s Shepherd Market, will open on September 1, 2026, unveiling its signature 62-cover restaurant, Fayre, as part of its dining offering.
Located on the historic site of Mayfair’s oldest house,
known as ‘The Cottage’ and dating to 1618, the hotel draws on the area’s
heritage and its connection to the historic May Fair.
Fayre will serve seasonal breakfast, lunch and dinner, with
an interior featuring dark timber panelling, banquette seating and berry-toned
colours inspired by mulberry and blueberry hues.
Artwork by urban artist Adam Ellis references the original
fair, including livestock markets, theatres and games.
The menu focuses on seasonal British produce and European
classics. -TTN
