Inaugural Meet & Greet for Virtuoso’s Members in the Middle East and Africa

Virtuoso, a leading global network specialising in luxury and experiential travel, recently hosted its first-ever meet-and-greet for its members in the Middle East & Africa, sponsored by  Atlantis The Royal Dubai.

The exclusive gathering marked a milestone in Virtuoso’s expansion within the region, bringing together five of Virtuoso’s nine regional member agencies, with representatives from the UAE and Saudi Arabia in attendance.

The evening featured a welcome from Brigid McDonnell, Virtuoso general manager, Middle East & Africa, and Kyp Charalambous, vice president of sales, Atlantis The Royal Dubai.

McDonnell highlighted Virtuoso’s commitment to its expanding presence in the region, emphasising the value of collaboration between members and preferred partners to foster a thriving community.

“As Virtuoso continues to expand in the Middle East & Africa, our goal is to build a connected and supportive network,” said McDonnell. “By bringing together our esteemed member agencies via these casual gatherings - which we plan to host quarterly with various preferred partners - we are not just facilitating business opportunities but laying the foundation for the Virtuoso community in the region.”

Last year was the Middle East & Africa region’s first year operating as a stand-alone market within Virtuoso with a dedicated team led by McDonnell.

It welcomed six new travel agency members in 2024, reflecting the region’s substantial influence in luxury travel and further demonstrating Virtuoso’s strategic growth to cater to elite advisors and travellers in all corners of the world. -TradeArabia News Service
