Emirates unveils premium Paris lounge 

Emirates has unveiled its highly anticipated premium lounge, located in Terminal 2C at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport. The airline’s exclusive 925 square meter lounge opened its doors recently, to welcome First and Business Class customers, as well as Emirates Skywards members.

The Emirates lounge can accommodate up to 165 guests. Customers can look forward to a refreshed and modern design with new furnishings, cosy chairs and sofas, enhanced shower facilities with VOYA products, complimentary Wi-Fi, and striking views of the airport runway. The lounge will showcase an exquisite food and beverage selection.

 

Delta One Lounge at JFK opens

Delta is ready to welcome guests to its newest and most exclusive destination: The Delta One Lounge at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Located between Concourses A and B in Terminal 4, adjacent to the main security checkpoint, the sweeping 39,000-plus-square-foot Delta One Lounge – the first of its kind, and larger than any Delta Sky Club – offers a variety of experiences and amenities for the premium traveller, from fine dining to spa-like wellness treatments to valet services and more. Delta One ticketholders can curate their own one-of-a-kind Lounge experience, based on what their travel day is calling for. As New York City’s hottest new destination, the Lounge features nods to other noted locations throughout the Big Apple, with thoughtfully curated surprises for New Yorkers and design enthusiasts alike.

 

Fly Jinnah launches Bahrain operations

Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the operator and managing body of Bahrain International Airport (BIA), recently launched the operations of Fly Jinnah, Pakistan’s low-cost carrier, from Bahrain International Airport (BIA). Starting June 13, 2024, passengers have greater travel options between Bahrain and Pakistan with two weekly flights connecting BIA to Islamabad International Airport (ISB). This move is set to boost connectivity between Bahrain and Pakistan. Fly Jinnah operates a modern fleet of five Airbus A320 aircraft. The aircraft economy cabins are designed to offer more legroom and comfort to passengers compared to standard economy cabins.

 

Air Tanzania operates direct UAE flights 

Air Tanzania has launched its inaugural flights from Dar es Salaam to the United Arab Emirates. Launched in Q1 this year, Air Tanzania’s latest route to Dubai International Airport, Terminal 1, features four weekly flights, connecting Tanzania with the UAE and beyond.

AVIAREPS Middle East, renowned as a global leader in international representation, marketing, and communications within the aviation, tourism, and hospitality sectors, has been selected as the General Sales Agent (GSA) for Air Tanzania in the UAE.

 

dnata wins Air India’s Zurich contract

dnata, a leading global air and travel services provider, has won a multi-year contract with Air India at Zurich Airport (ZRH) in Switzerland, as India’s national carrier returns to the city for the first time in 27 years. The partnership will see dnata provide its range of passenger, ramp, and baggage services to the airline which will operate a four-weekly service between Zurich and Delhi on a Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
