Seera Group and Amadeus launch tech
Seera Group, the leading provider of diverse travel and tourism services in the Middle East, and Amadeus, a leading travel technology company, have together launched new technology in Saudi Arabia to improve the post-booking experience for customers.
Seera Group recently introduced Amadeus’ advanced post-booking technology solutions to the Kingdom which provide numerous optimisation benefits including drastically reducing the time needed to re-issue tickets across all Seera’s omni-channel touch points by automating the process. Requests for ticket changes, whether made via Seera’s travel verticals on booking platforms, call centres, in-branch, or WhatsApp channels, can now be processed in less than five minutes.
Amadeus’ new technology solutions helps discard the time-consuming and convoluted old processes to provide tickets to customers.
Hotelbeds portfolio now available on Xeni
Hotelbeds has just announced a partnership to distribute its full hotel and car rental portfolio on Xeni, a B2B service offering a complete white label travel booking and payments platform.
Xeni users – which include small to medium-sized leisure agencies, experience sellers cross-selling travel and organisations seeking discounted travel for their community – will gain access to 300,000 hotels and 500 car rental providers that are part of the Hotelbeds portfolio.
“Through this agreement, we will further increase our reach of hard-to-access B2B buyers, while Xeni will expand its product selection to allow its B2B clients to create their own packages and trips, including flights, hotels and cars” says Leon Herce, Core Commercial Director at Hotelbeds.
Sachin Narode, CEO of Xeni, added: “Travel agents and experience-sellers want to focus on their expertise and client network. Today, they are distracted by problems accessing wholesale inventory, creating an online experience for travellers, and manually performing administrative tasks. By providing smaller organisations with the complete travel booking platform they need, we are democratising the ability to resell travel online. We’re very excited to expand our partnership with Hotelbeds to enhance our inventory selection at best-in-industry prices for our users around the world.”
Kitmytrip reveals creator-native Alike.io
Travel tech innovator kitmytrip has revealed its novel flagship offering, Alike.io, the creator native, no-code, travel commerce platform. Building upon their Dubai roots, Alike.io collaborates with Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism to have Dubai as the Founding Partner City on the Alike platform.
Travel content creators are the main source of influence for leisure travel bookings. People love sharing travel content, with 60 per cent of travellers (97 per cent when it comes to millennials) sharing content about their trips on social media.
“However, no platform rewards content creators for the bookings they influence, leaving the content creators to compete for a finite number of brand sponsorship deals,” said Ashish Sidhra, Co-Founder of Alike.io. “With the launch of Alike we have made an ambitious commitment to correct this wrong by making tens of thousands of vetted and bookable travel experiences available to the content creators and giving them a share of the revenue.”
V Booking integrates blockchain with AI
V Technology has launched at the Arabian Travel Market its latest blockchain-based product V Booking, a platform specialised in providing and facilitating advanced travel and tourism services in a secure and transparent manner.
The platform connects suppliers and users through a single integrated solution.
Leveraging artificial intelligence technologies, the ‘V Booking’ platform is used to draw the entire planet in 3D view, allowing tour agents and brokers to offer their services to customers interactively and take them on virtual tours that provide an unprecedented immersive experience.
The ‘V Booking’ platform features a ‘remote trip’ function that enables customers to preview travel destinations. Using ‘V Booking’, tourists will also be able to accurately identify the location and geographical nature of the facilities and tourist destinations.
