Conrad Dubai, a modern luxury hotel, has appointed Kyra Bommeljé of Dutch origins as the new Director of Food & Beverage.

She will oversee all aspects and operations of the hotel’s food & beverage offerings, including the newly opened Greek taverna Anasa, the popular Korean bar Kimpo, Cave wine bar, Bliss 6 urban oasis, Ballaro’ Italian restaurant, Isla lobby lounge and the hotel banqueting.

With more than 12 years of award winning experience in the F&B industry, her appointment brings a wealth of in-depth industry knowledge and experience to the F&B team.

Kyra brings her passion for concept development, coordinating and management of all phases of planning and execution in a range of different restaurants. With her knowledge of working with F&B hotels in Europe, Middle East and Asia, Kyra has a comprehensive F&B background from working with world-renowned brands such as Le Meridien, Jumeirah and JA Resorts & Hotels.

Kyra always knew that she had a calling to work in the hospitality industry and took her love to a professional level by getting a bachelor’s degree in hotel management. Always looking for challenges, Kyra’s motto is “never accept that you are good enough, because once you reach the top, from there you can only go down.”

Extremely passionate about food and wine, she has worked on pre-opening, concept development and the handling of large-scale requirements such as the Omega Desert Classic, Dubai Airshow, Dubai World Cup and several pavilions at Expo 2020.
