Al Khoory Hotels announced the July opening of the 227-room Al Khoory Atrium Hotel Al Barsha, part of the group’s plans to add 1,100 rooms in Dubai by end of 2019.
Mohammed Khoory, managing director, Al Khoory Group, says, 'Our hospitality division is in a steady proposition, and with our pipeline of new openings, we plan to offer 1,100 rooms in Dubai by end of 2019. During this time, we will also start to explore opportunities internationally and foresee to create management contracts with stand-alone properties in the UAE and GCC market, where we see long term growth opportunities.'
In addition to existing properties such as the Al Khoory Hotel Apartments in Al Barsha and Al Khoory Executive Hotel in Al Wasl, the group’s pipeline includes the 69-room Al Khoory Inn Bur Dubai (2017), the 370-room Al Khoory Plaza Hotel Diera, the 99-room Al Khoory Central Hotel Al Quoz and 159-room Al Khoory Courtyard Hotel Al Quoz (2019). The company also plans to expand in Oman with one property in Muscat and two in Sohar.
