Bertin... more properties for Hyatt

HYATT Hotels Corporation will announce development plans for major properties in Saudi Arabia and Malaysia at the upcoming Arabian Travel Market (ATM) exhibition in Dubai.

In February of this year, Hyatt announced that it had opened a worldwide sales office in Saudi Arabia and had entered into agreements with Naseel Holding Company to manage three new Hyatt-branded hotels in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing to six the number of Hyatt-branded hotels under development in Saudi Arabia across five of Hyatt’s brands. Currently, there is one Hyatt-branded hotel in Saudi Arabia, Park Hyatt Jeddah – Marina, Club and Spa, which opened in 2009.

And, in time for summer travel, the much-awaited Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur will open, providing a premium, Hyatt-branded property in the heart of one of the Gulf’s top holiday destinations. Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur promises chic luxury and unparalleled comfort, complete with spectacular views of the city.

“Hyatt’s progress in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Malaysia has been absolutely remarkable, and we are truly excited about what we will now be able to offer Gulf residents, particularly, in both of these premium markets.  Our newly-opened worldwide sales office Saudi Arabia, with its focus on localized and personalized service, will superbly support both destinations,” said Dubai-based Thierry Bertin, vice president of World Wide Sales for Hyatt International – South West Asia, in advance of the ATM.

Hyatt will be taking part at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai from 30 April to 3 May 2012, located in HC 3630.
