Following their 3-0 victory over Thailand in the Asia League Ice Hockey Championship title, the UAE Ice Hockey team were given a royal welcome by UAE sports officials at the VIP Terminal of Royal Jet, the international luxury flight services company chaired by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan.

Royal Jet provided the winning team with the perfect air travel experience that befits champions as one of its luxurious Boeing Business Jets (BBJ) flew the whole team back to the UAE from India. This was the UAE national team’s second victory in the championship history.

Welcoming the team home were Talal Al Hashmi, member of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council; Hamel Al Qubaisi and Hamad Al-Sheryan, vice chairman of the UAE Ice Hockey Association and Royal Jet’s meet-and-greet officials and staff.
